Mabitsela: UL’s chances must start finding the net [VIDEO]

University of Limpopo goalkeeper Mosa Mabitsela believes UL’s performances have been better than their results suggest, with the team’s biggest challenge being their inability to convert opportunities.

The Limpopo side have created numerous chances throughout their Varsity Football campaign but have struggled to turn those opportunities into goals, leaving them frustrated as they search for consistency in front of goal.

"In all the past games we've played, we created so many chances, but we couldn't convert all of them,” said Mabitsela.

"In all games we create more than 10 good chances, but we know games are decided by goals and results, whether you're doing bad or good."

Mabitsela says the team understands that attractive football alone is not enough, with results ultimately determining their progress in the competition.

"At this moment we are not getting those results. People are not happy, but we are playing well, it's just that we are not being clinical."

With the knockout stages approaching, UL will need to find their finishing touch if they are to turn their performances into points.
