TUT focused on unity ahead of Wits semi-final [VIDEO]

TUT captain Lucky Raphala believes unity will be crucial when the Red Army face Wits in the Varsity Football semi-final at Wits Stadium.

TUT secured their place in the last four after a challenging campaign that went down to the final round of fixtures. Raphala reflected on the team’s journey and the importance of reaching the knockout stage.

"It wasn't an easy season - We had to wait for the last game for us to qualify. Theoretically, we managed to qualify and go to the last round."

With Wits having already defeated TUT during the round-robin stage, Raphala knows his side will need to learn from that result and remain focused.

"We've been preaching unity. Us losing in the round-robin made us a little bit distracted. But if we can be united in this coming game, I think we can win the game."

The Red Army will now look to produce a strong performance and book their place in the final.
