UP-Tuks goalkeeper Gennaro Johnson says he has settled into his new environment and is enjoying his football as the competition reaches a crucial stage.

Johnson admitted that adapting to a new team, coaching staff and style of play took time, but believes he has now found his feet.

"It took a while to adjust to the new environment and everything, the new style of football, the coaches and everything, but now I feel like I've settled well," said Johnson.

The goalkeeper also revealed that his move to Tuks was influenced by his desire to prioritise his education alongside football.

"It came about that I actually wanted to focus on my studies because I believe that education is more important than football."

With Tuks facing UL in a crucial fixture, Johnson knows the importance of securing maximum points as they push for a semi-final place.

"Honestly, I believe it's a do or die fixture because if you win it puts us in contention for a potential semi-final spot. So, I believe that the boys prepared well throughout the week and we are looking forward to the home game."
