Think you have what it takes to be the next voice of Varsity Sports? The In The Driver's Seat: Suzuki Presenter Search is giving Varsity Football and Netball fans the chance to swap the stands for the spotlight!

We are inviting fans to show off their personality, creativity and presenting skills by recording their very own audition. With a little ad-libbed flair and plenty of Varsity spirit, aspiring presenters could earn the ultimate opportunity: co-hosting live from the pitch or court alongside Melody Miya at Varsity Football and Tshina Mdau at Varsity Netball!

Whether you're a budding sports presenter, content creator, campus personality or simply someone who knows how to work a crowd, the Suzuki Presenter Search is designed to give students their moment in the spotlight.

Students from the eight Varsity Football universities and eight Varsity Netball universities will be invited to get involved throughout the tournament season.

HOW TO ENTER!

• Attend a Varsity Football or Varsity Netball match in 2026 or watch from home

• Record a two minute presenter video and show us why you should be IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT with SUZUKI! Make sure you tell us your name, say what university your from and mention that your video is for the In the Driver's Seat: Suzuki Presenter Search

• Upload your video to social media

• Tag Suzuki SA and Varsity Diski accounts

• Use the hashtag #SuzukiInTheDriversSeat 

The search isn't just about finding a great video. It's about finding someone who can bring the same energy to a live sporting environment.

Shortlisted entries will be shared throughout the campaign, building towards the selection of finalists who will get the opportunity to step into the presenter role at the business end of the competition.

The biggest prize is the chance to present live alongside Varsity Sports hosts Tshina Mdau for netball and Melody Miya for football.

The successful presenters will take part in live pre-game, half-time and post-match segments at the semi-finals and finals, putting their presenting skills to the ultimate test in front of the Varsity Sports audience.

The campaign will culminate in the finals, where the winning presenters will step into the spotlight alongside the hosts. Netball's Grand Final takes place on 28 September, followed by the Football Grand Final on 2 October.

The Suzuki Presenter Search is more than just a competition. It is an opportunity for Varsity fans to turn their passion for sport, entertainment and storytelling into a real on-camera experience.
